Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act Funding is now available
For a limited time, hospitals and healthcare education institutions in the US can apply for funds from the CARES Act to support their educational, training, and patient safety initiatives.
Many of the grants will expire soon, so immediate submission is required. The OMS team are happy to help you with grant research and writing proposals to help you secure this funding.
The Act will provide more than $2 trillion in economic relief, including support for medical education and training, equipment and distance learning, including:
- Healthcare workforce education and training equipment
- Distance learning for medical students, faculty and staff training
- Transition to virtual instructional delivery
- Reimbursement of COVID-19 related expense including educational technology
Hospitals, colleges and universities may be eligible for immediate funding assistance under a variety of new and existing grant programs, including the ESSER ($14 billion, ongoing until September 2022), GEER ($2.9 billion, funding expires December 2020), HEER ($12.6 billion, applications due August 1st, 2020).
